HP presents its update for its Envy 13 laptop. The device presents itself as the direct competitor of the Dell XPS 13 by its configurations and its design.

This ultrabook of 1.23 kg presents a screen of 13.3 inch IPS with a viewing angle of 178 degrees. The frame around the display has decreased considerably and offers a clean design. If the Dell XPS 13 made a mistake with the location of the webcam, the HP Envy 13 stay in the right tone by opting for a more classic configuration. The keyboard design also favors typing comfort thanks to a greater spacing of the keys whose stroke is 1.3 mm. Connectivity brings together two USB Type-C ports, a miniDisplay port, a microSD reader, 2 USB 3.1 ports and a headphone / microphone jack. However, the USB-C ports are incompatible with the Thunderbolt 3 specification.

The HP Envy 13 is available in several versions which differ by processor, color and screen type (Full HD or Ultra HD). In any case, the portable device is equipped with a 7th generation Intel Core i. If the RAM is 8 GB, the SSD is limited to 128 GB.10.5 hours autonomy will be available in June at around € 900.
