How to set up parental controls on your smartphone

Here’s a step-by-step guide to enabling parental controls in your Android smartphone:

    • Step 1 : – In order to regulate your child’s access to the smartphone, you must configure a new user account under his name. So first open the settings menu.
    • 2nd step : – Now scroll down to “User and Accounts” option. Now click on the “User” option and press on the “Add User” option.
    • Step 3 : – Tap on the option “Configure now” to create a new account. You will be asked to enter your password or unlock pattern to confirm that it is you.
    • Step 4 : – Follow the instructions on the screen. Now, if your kid already has a Google Account, enter the details here or create a new Google Account by tapping “More Options” and filling in the required information.
    • Step 5 : – Follow the on-screen instructions and select / deselect the options you want for your child’s user account.
    • Step 6 : – You can now select different options to restrict your child’s access to several smartphone functions.

    • 2. Now open Play Store and tap on settings to access Parental Control option.
    • 3.Now turn on the parental control switch and set up a new pin.

Prevent purchases

  • 3. Now select the option “Require authentication for purchases”.
  • 4.Select the option “For all purchases”. Now you have to enter the password every time you want to make a purchase.

Disable unauthorized applications

  • 1.Open the security option in the settings menu.
  • 2.You can disable third-party applications by changing the option “Unknown sources”
