How to read deleted messages on WhatsApp

We have been waiting for a long time to be able to erase messages on WhatsApp, because until recently any errors we saw were definitely stuck in our chat history. Fortunately, we can now take advantage of this functionality. However, you might not know that there is a way to get back to all those deleted messages as well. We will tell you how to read deleted messages on WhatsApp.

Read deleted messages from your contacts on WhatsApp

When someone deletes a message in WhatsApp, everyone in the chat can see “This message has been deleted”. It is impossible not to be curious to know what was the content of this message.

To be able to read these deleted messages, you must have an app that records or creates a log of all your incoming notifications and messages. Here is a couple designed with this in mind:

Notification history
Notification history

Notif Log notification history
Notif Log notification history

You will only need one of the two. They do the exact same thing, but the layout is a little different. Whether the messages have been erased or not, this app will keep track of every notification you receive. However, to do this, you will need to grant it special access.

This access will replace other applications so that it can collect notification data. The first time you open one of the two apps, you will be asked to grant them permission.

From that point on, all notifications you receive are saved, including those messages that were subsequently deleted. All you need to do is check the log and check the deleted notifications on WhatsApp. It’s that simple.
