Activate and deactivate Bluetooth

The first suggestion that is given by most of the technical experts regarding the Bluetooth problem is to update your Bluetooth connection. It doesn't matter if you are having trouble connecting your Huawei P30 to a car, headset or establishing a connection with another gadget, the first thing to do is to turn on / off the Bluetooth of your phone only. If that doesn't work, follow the other solutions mentioned below.

Restart the phone

If the previous solution did not solve the problem, it is time for you to restart your handset. It is very possible that by restarting your phone, the bug will disappear. Press and hold the power button, then press Restart.

It is also recommended to restart the other device / gadget that you want to connect via Bluetooth. Once the two devices have restarted, try to connect them again and check if the problem has been solved.

Unpair a device

When Bluetooth is not working properly, you must unpair a device and try to pair it again. It can do the trick. It’s quite simple. Here's how to unpair a device:

  • Go to settings
  • Tap Device Connection
  • Go to Bluetooth
  • Find twin devices
  • Tap the (i) side of the device you want to unpair.
  • Tap Unpair

Go for updates

One of the most reliable fixes to resolve this issue is to check for software and application updates on your Huawei. The updates bring a dramatic change in phone performance and also fix most common bugs. Most of the time, updates are made automatically, but if you have set the manual mode, make sure the update is available on time.

Reset network settings

It's another thing worth trying. Here's what to do:

  • Navigate to settings
  • Scroll and press System
  • Press Reset
  • Choose network settings reset
  • Finally, tap Reset network settings.

Clear cache partition

To load certain features and applications faster, Android OS saves some frequently used items, such as links to sites, images, videos, etc., in another part of internal storage called a cache partition. The cache partition can be loaded over time and may contain bugs that could affect phone performance. It is recommended that you regularly empty your phone's cache partition to keep your phone running smoothly. To clear the cache partition, you need to follow these steps:

  • Press and hold the power and volume up buttons for at least ten seconds while your phone is on.
  • Release the buttons as soon as the Huawei logo appears.
  • Once the logo is displayed, the EMUI screen appears with the recovery mode options.
  • Press the volume down button to find the Clean up cache partition option.
  • Once you have reached the Wipe cache partition option, press the power button to confirm the selection.
  • Check again if the problem is gone

Reset to factory settings

If your phone is not working, try a factory reset which will most likely solve your phone problem. But before doing so, be sure to back up all of your data. All settings will return to the factory settings, all of your applications and files will be deleted. This is why it is important to make a backup. Once all of your files are safe, do the following:

  • Go to settings
  • Tapping system
  • Press Reset
  • Choose Factory data reset
  • Tap on Reset phone
