Sometimes we receive unsolicited messages on our smartphone. Your number may be in the wrong place for a variety of reasons. It could be a friend who is kidding you. Or you played a contest to win a PS4 and since then your number has been sold to all companies selling video games. In short, we must react!

Reject the call

The first solution is to refuse anonymous calls. Operators offer this functionality in different forms. They are also activated in different ways, see the following pages:

Switch to messaging

The second solution, in the event of repeated calls from the same unmasked number, is to automatically switch the caller to messaging. To do this, go to the call list of your smartphone. Then select the number you want to blacklist:

toggle a blacklist number

Then in the options, select Add to blacklist :

add blacklist number

Unindex

The third and final solution is preventive. It is a question of registering your number on Bloctel which defines itself as: ” the telephone canvassing list, free for consumers ” Companies carrying out door-to-door selling have the obligation to consult this list before sending and to withdraw the numbers entered on it. Not all of them do it, but it still helps limit unsolicited calls.
