The Windows file explorer interface has evolved a lot with new versions of Windows. If under Windows 10, the file explorer interface is rather efficient, there is a variant, in the form of a universal application.
This other file explorer is however hidden, but can be activated very easily, with just a few clicks.
1. Create a new shortcut
From the Windows desktop, right click, go to the menu New, and select Shortcut.
2. Save the shortcut
In the window that opens, paste the following command in the field Enter the location of the item :
explorer shell: AppsFolder c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy! App
Then click on the button next and enter a name for this new shortcut, Explorer UWP, for example, and click finish.
A new shortcut to the alternative Windows Explorer file interface should appear on your desktop.
