Today we will see how to activate Night Shift on Macs before 2012 with NightEnabler. If you upgraded to MacOS 10.12.4 Sierra, you have the right to Night Shift, the mode that changes the colors of your screen to a warmer range to rest your eyes and your brain at night.

Night Shift: Not for all Macs?
Although your Mac has been upgraded to MacOS Sierra 10.12.4, be aware that Apple only activates this option for Macs and Macbooks from 2012. For others, there is now NightEnabler you can download from this address.
How to do ?
First, it will disable Sierra protection called SIP and prevents any modification of the system.
Open a Terminal then type:
Restart the computer, then open NightEnabler and press the button Patch System. If necessary, open the app by pressing CTRL + right click.
Then go to System Preferences and then Monitors to activate Night Shift.
