The HTC group took advantage of the weekend to unveil a new series of smartphones in China which includes a model HTC One E9 and a phablet variant HTC One E9 +. The latter is distinguished by the presence of a 5.5 inch display in QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
In terms of design, the device is very close to the HTC One M9 presented in March at the MWC 2015 fair in Barcelona, with a metal finish on the front but a plastic back. On board, a MediaTek MT6795 processor is present and is associated with 3 GB of RAM.
The phablet has 16 GB of storage space, with the possibility of expansion via a microSD port, and has a 20 megapixel camera on the back and a module Ultrapixel in front. The HTC One E9 + has a 2800 mAh battery, allowing it to keep a thin thickness of 7.49 mm.
The smartphone is 4G compatible and has two SIM card slots. These different characteristics suggest that this is the HTC One M9 + whose rumors have been numerous in recent weeks.
The HTC One E9 is more classic with a Full HD display, 2 GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera on the back. The HTC One E9 / One E9 + series seems to be intended only for the Asian market, although some leaks have suggested that the HTC One E9 + will have a European version.
