If you are a fan of Rockstar products and more particularly of GTA Online, you are probably enjoying the biggest update in the history of GTA 5 multiplayer called “The Heist of Cayo Perico”. With an unprecedented heist and above all a new playground, in this case the island of Cayo Perico, there was something to be impatient with.

However, on this Wednesday, December 30, 2020, we let’s learn that GTA 4: Complete Edition, which includes the original game as well as the two expansions The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, could well land on PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021.

Indeed, the product sheet for this next-gen compilation appeared briefly on Amazon on Wednesday, before being withdrawn. According to the summary, this version would therefore propose a 4K display, all sublimated by various graphic improvements, a better framerate (maybe in 60 or 120 FPS) and support for haptic feedback.
As a reminder, haptic feedback is one of the flagship features of the DualSense, the PS5 controller. This technology reproduces sensations and textures related to what is happening on the screen, in order to promote the player’s immersion. Of course, as long as Rockstar doesn’t confirm the existence of this next-gen version of GTA 4, this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
Anyway, the arrival of GTA 4 on the next-gen consoles could allow young GTA Online players to discover in the best possible conditions one of the most ambitious episodes of the saga. It must be said that the bank robbery mission, homage assumed to the mythical Heat of Michael Mann, alone is worth playing GTA 4. Fingers crossed that this remastered becomes reality.
