GoPro in space, camera without battery, GTA 5 PC, CryEngine

This week, we suggest two high-tech videos. The first presents Expedition 42 of the ISS astronauts with two GoPro cameras. The second presents a camera that works without electricity, developed by researchers at Columbia University.

In terms of video games, the first extract focuses on GTA 5 (Grand Theft Auto 5) which is finally available on PC and which takes advantage of an Editor mode to make your own video edits. The second extract presents a recent technical demo of the CryEngine graphics engine, highlighting a rather well modeled prehistoric world and exploiting the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.

With that, happy Sunday and good viewing.
