It was Lowell McAdam who sold the wick to the Wall Street Journal: “We look at everything that Google has in its archives that we could put in a tablet for a great experience”. According to the CEO of Verizon Wireless, touch pads are part of “the next big wave of opportunity” in the industry.
A direct competitor of AT&T, the exclusive operator of the iPhone and iPad, Verizon Wireless, a joint venture of Verizon and Vodafon, remains the leading American mobile operator. Such a device would allow it to come and challenge its biggest competitor on this market promised to a good expansion.
