Google abandons Cloud Print. The internet printing service will close its doors on 31 December 2020, after 9 years of loyal service. Launched in 2011, Cloud Print is getting ready to join the glittering cemetery of glove du net, next to Google+ or Hangouts.
Effective January 1, 2021, devices in all operating systems will no longer print using Google Cloud Print warns Google in a statement posted on its website. We recommend that you identify in the coming year an alternative solution to running a migration strategy add the glove of the net. Users of the service will therefore have to find alternatives.
For those who do not know, Google Cloud Print allowsprint documents distance via servers from a smartphone, tablet, PC or Chromebook. For example, to print photos or PDFs, you do not need to install drivers for your device or connect to the same local network as the printer. Each document sent by the users is relayed to a Google server before being sent to the printer.

Google's cemetery fills up
This is far from the first time that Google buries one of its services. Last April, the Mountain View firm announced the death of Google+, the social network also deserted and unloved. Earlier, Google announced the end of Hangouts, as well as Google Inbox, the revolutionary email client.
One recurring joke is enjoying the impressive number of Google products and services that are falling into oblivion.
