Apple would she face a reputation problem? In the Global RepTrak 100, a ranking of the best companies according to their reputation, the apple brand is only at the 20th place. Last year at the same period, however, it ranked 10th.

They were invited to assess companies according to their products or services, their innovation, management, leadership, and of course according to their performances. The marks awarded vary on a scale from 0 to 100. A score of 80 or more is considered to be an “excellent” reputation, and below 60, it is “average”.

Apple was rated 74.94 for a “good” reputation, but the company still lost 1.7 points from last year. The Cupertino company is thus far behind Google. The online search giant is in 5th place with a score of 78.82. In 2011, it dominated the Global RepTrak 100 and had the apple brand as its dolphin. 17th last year, Samsung plummeted to 70th place with a score of 70.98.
