Gboard, the Google keyboard, becomes floating

Good news for Android users who find that their keyboard lacks ergonomics, Google is changing its keyboard to make it become floating and resizable.Image 1: Gboard, the Google keyboard, becomes floating

Generation after generation, the size of smartphones tends to increase, which does not make things easy for their use with one hand. The new functionality of the Google keyboard is therefore welcome since it is now possible to place the keyboard where you want and at the size you want.

To do this, simply click on the G (or>) icon, the “…” icon and you will find the “Floating” option. Then click on the directional cross at the bottom of the keyboard to move it. You will notice that for a few seconds the edges change color, this indicates that resizing is possible. Finally, it will become semi-transparent and will disappear as soon as you click off the keyboard.

An improvement therefore very simple to use and especially very welcome for those who would have a large smartphone, small hands, or who simply would look for a slightly different ergonomics.
