The Galaxy Buds Pro, Samsung’s wireless headphones, hold no secrets for us. A few days before the official announcement, a Canadian brand indeed put the headphones on sale on its site. This last minute leak confirms the Buds Pro spec sheet, features, design, colorways and dollar price.
This Monday, January 11, 2021, Staples, an ultra-well-known Canadian brand, put on sale the Galaxy Buds Pro on its online store, reports Roland Quandt, journalist and leaker, on Twitter. The headphones are titled “Galaxy Attic ”on the Staples website.
It is however indeed Buds Pro, as confirmed by the descriptive text. Staples has therefore once again violates the embargo imposed by Samsung. The Canadian brand is not at its first attempt. Last year, the store had already released Galaxy Buds Live days before their official announcement.
Staples confirms everything you need to know about Galaxy Buds Pro
First, the brand confirms the integration ofactive noise reduction technology. According to a first grip, the noise cancellation developed by Samsung would not be up to that of Apple’s AirPods Pro. The earphones incorporate an “ambient sound” mode which lets them filter out the surrounding noise.
According to Staples, Samsung promises 5 hours of battery life with a single charge. Thanks to the charging case, the autonomy would increase to 28 hours. Unsurprisingly, the wireless headphones are IPX7 certified, guaranteeing protection in water for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. The Canadian brand is displaying the Buds Pro for $ 264.99. In Europe, the price should be around 229 euros. Finally, the leak confirms the three colors offered by Samsung : silver, black and purple.
As a reminder, Samsung will announce the Galaxy Buds Pro this Thursday, January 14, 2021 at an Unpacked conference. As part of this event, the South Korean manufacturer will also and above all present the Galaxy S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra. In the process, the brand should also lift the veil on the Smart Tag, a bluetooth beacon competing with Tile. These new products are expected to land in stores on Friday, January 29, 2021.
