Free sets foot in home automation with SMS notifications

Free change of policy

Free was the last operator to still apply this kind of exclusion to its unlimited telephony offer. “Certain calls starting with 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 or 09 not interpersonal communication supports are subjected to a particular tariffing”, explained a PDF published on the site of Free, withdrawn since. He explained in particular that this particularity applied, for example, to call centers or even to platforms for redirecting telephone communications.

ARCEP, for its part, indicates that it has taken note of this decision on the part of Free, and will ensure “carefully its compliance”.
