It is now official, an Apple Store will open soon in Paris and more precisely in Caroussel du Louvre.
The rumors were insistent since a few days following the declarations of La Tribune [paying article] which indicated this information which comes to be confirmed this Tuesday morning by Apple :
We are delighted that our plans to open a store at the Carrousel du Louvre have been approved by the CDEC. Our stores meet a successful standard in the United States, the United Kingdom and Italy and we are delighted to be able to share with our French customers the unique retail experience that Apple offers.
The Caroussel du Louvre is therefore about to receive the first French Apple Store and the location chosen was not without difficulty to be found.
We know that at first, the Champs-Elyses had been retained by the Californian firm which used to choose exceptional places in addition to being strategic but after negotiations with the City of Paris, the Louvre Museum was an opportunity that Apple probably did not pass up …
It will not be less 715m in the basement that Apple will exploit to receiveFrench customers and from the rest of the world passing through the city of lights.
There is no doubt that fans of the apple in Belgium will not fail toe take a leap the french capital to have a good time…;]
