Fortnite v12.30: what to expect – GKZ Video Games

Take a look at what to expect in the v12.30 release notes when the update becomes available.

Fortnite v12.30 is scheduled for tomorrow morning, March 31 at 2:00 a.m. EST. We don't have a ton of leaks to draw from, but there are some expectations as to the changes that will occur.

Here are our best guesses for what version 12.30 will contain. Hopefully Epic will surprise us with a few unexpected additions.

Bug fixes

Bug fixes are the part of every update that we can almost guarantee – of course, that was not the case with last week's content update.

Here are all the bugs currently reported as fixed in the next version on the Fortnite Community Issues Trello Board:

  • Spy games: stuck on the Select Tech screen.
  • Style selections for certain items in the locker are not saved.
  • Harpoon Gun does not grab booty consistently.
  • Automatic pickup is not working properly.
  • Deadpool Plunger not visible in 4: 3 format.
  • (Creative) Display panel settings are not saved when copied.
  • (Crative) The interactive user interface does not work properly when using the quick menu on mobile.

Takeover of Yacht Shadow

We don't know if Shadow or Ghost will win the battle for Meowscles' soul, but the last month of challenges suggests that Shadow will take him home.

The big question is: what will happen to the yacht? Will we see a complete takeover of Shadow like The Grotto or will it sink; similar what happened with The Rig?

We won't know until the 12.30 update, but we'll keep you posted when we know.

Spy Games Update

Most Spy Games players have optimized their technology upgrades, which means that Epic will have to add more with the v12.30 update.

A new game mode could also enter the game, although that is far from being a sure thing. Epic could have us playing the same games for two more weeks, but a third option wouldn't be surprising.

Fortnite v12.30: what to expect

dead Pool

Based on the date circles on the Deadpool calendar – April 3 – we can expect Deadpool to arrive at Fortnite this week.

We will certainly have to wait until Friday to unlock Deadpool, but that's normal.

However, we will likely see new information; especially with regard to the takeover of the Battle bus that could happen this week. We might even see it when the update goes live.

Fortnite v12.30: what to expect

We don't have a ton of information on what comes with this update. In the past, we have seen leaks of weapons, objects or vehicles that we expect in the next update. This is not the case with version 12.30.

There are some expectations, but we can be surprised. As always, we'll keep you posted with the unofficial 12.30 release notes, leaked skins, and everything else from tomorrow's update.
