If you’re a Fortnite fan and have an Android tablet or smartphone, you’ll be happy to know that the Epic Games shooting / survival / construction phenomenon game is finally available on your device… if it is fairly recent.

Until yesterday, to play Fortnite on Android, you had to either have a Galaxy S9 or Galaxy Note 9, or have received an invitation. Epic Games puts an end to this injustice, provided that your device respects a certain number of technical constraints. Here is a summary of minimum requirements for playing Fortnite on Android.

Your smartphone should run under Android 8.0 and have at least 3 GB of RAM. The integrated SoC should at least be a Snapdragon 820, Exynos 9 (from Galaxy S8), or Kirin 970.
