Force Touch technology the tip of the stylus?

iPad ProThe month of September is approaching and with it the mobile announcements from the Apple group. If the iPhone and iPhone 6S are logically expected, the surprise could come from the presentation of a touch pad iPad Pro whose unofficial details are still few, but which may already be beginning to betray its presence.

Analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, of KGI Securities, makes new predictions on the mysterious tablet that he sees going into production in September or October and optionally accompanied by a stylus compatible with technology Force Touch already at work in certain products and accessories from the Californian group.

The stylus would be rechargeable via a Lightning port and could work with future versions of the iPad tablet beyond the iPad Pro, at least on certain specific applications, says the analyst, who also sees it as an accessory "necessary to properly operate the Force Touch on the 12.9 inch tablet".

The analyst also estimates that the volume of iPad Pro tablets sold could reach 5.5 million units during 2015, while less than 1 million Force Touch compatible styli, designed exclusively by Cheng Uei, will find takers by the end of the year.
