The leader in online photo hosting is making a completely new version of its application available, which includes filters and a completely redesigned interface.
After a year of stagnation, Flickr has just released version 2.0 of its iPhone application. A major update for this application whose interface has been completely redesigned and which fits more with current trends. While some people are still waiting for a suitable iPad version, it won't be yet yet. However, Flick seems to have steadfastly bet in this new version since he has also grafted a feature allowing him to add 16 filters to the photos taken from his iPhone. A “tool” which is becoming more and more trendy in “photo sharing” oriented applications on social networks.
The functionality also looks a lot like what Instagram already offers with the names of each filter included on a thumbnail representing not a hot air balloon but rather an umbrella decorated with several colors, with the possibility of viewing a preview of the post-processed photo. ”Directly on the same screen. And from the moment you are registered on the platform, it is possible to comment on each photo posted by users of the social network, then to bookmark or share them.
Note that this new version also includes functionality related to groups and that it can now log in through a Facebook account.
