first game only playable on tablet

Nintendo Switch screen

If the Nintendo Switch allows you to play in a home console or portable console configuration, certain titles will not allow this flexibility. Voez is a perfect example, since it can only be played with the console's touch pad.

Scheduled to be released this Friday, March 3, 2017 worldwide, the Nintendo Switch will draw its originality from its hybrid approach between the home console and the portable console.

If we expect to enjoy our games in these two configurations, some titles will not offer such use. This is the case with the rhythm game See, originally released on iOS and Android in 2016 and planned for a adaptation on Switch.

In view of the liabilities of the title, the handling will operate the tablet touch interface of the new Nintendo console and, according to information from the official website of the software, the developer will not provide any support with the controllers. Thus, Voez cannot be played when you insert the tablet into its dock.

It remains to be seen whether other games – notably from the mobile games market – will also opt for this implementation in the future.
