The manufacturer Throwboy will soon launch a limit series of stuffed figures with the image of Steve Jobs. Only 1,200 copies will be offered for sale and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the American organization for the fight against cancer.
Steve Jobs fans can rejoice because Throwboy has thought of them. The company will launch a very limited edition (only 1,200 copies) of stuffed figures in the image of Apple’s creator. Expected for next August, the figures will be sold for $ 60 and can be reserved from countries other than the United States. Roberto Hoyos, the designer, expressed his satisfaction with the final product, stressing that it “is a way of paying tribute to a person who has brought me a lot". In a gesture of solidarity, the company announced that 10% of the payments will be donated to the American association for the fight against cancer.
Earlier this year, Throwboy came under heavy pressure from Apple over the release of a figurine like Steve Jobs. The company had to post an apology message and stop selling its figurines. We still don't know if these stuffed figurines will suffer the same fate…
