At the end of 2018, we are literally crumbling under the announcements of new smartphones. Just last week, we presented you the Google Pixel 3, the the Huawei Mate 20 RS Porsche Design or the Razer Phone 2. However, HTC is likely to win the prize for originality in this plethoric offer proposing Exodus, the first smartphone dedicated to blockchain.

Last May, the Taiwanese manufacturer presented the Exodus as a smartphone that would centralize sensitive information such as passwords and personal data and which would also include a “very secure” virtual wallet. In addition to supporting decentralized applications (called Dapps) that will allow buyers to “really own their data”, regardless of the transactions, and the presence of Cryptokitties, the game that collects Ethereum, no other detail has filtered.
According to the short teaser published on the company’s Instagram account, it can be said that the design of the Exodus will be similar to the HTC U12 +, and that the device will offer a fingerprint reader. Will the device have its own operating system or will it still run Android? No one knows yet. We have to wait until October 23, date announced by HTC for the official presentation.
