A future catalog dedicated to games
Launched in late October 2019, the free Epic Games Android app replaces the Fortnite installer. Wishing to compete with the Play Store by offering its own catalog, the publisher is currently offering only a redesign of the name and its icon.
Indeed, very few changes on the horizon because the Epic Games app only offers Fortnite for the moment and will host other Epic Games games and applications in the future like the game Battle Breakers, available for pre-registration on the Play Store.
A simple and intuitive game installer
Tested at its inception, Epic Games for Android only offers the download and installation of Fortnite over Wi-Fi or using mobile data. This option can be changed at any time via the parameters. Several information about the game is available such as its description, screenshots and technical details like the recommended system.
How to download the application?
The application is not available on the Google Play Store, the user will have to install it manually. If this operation is new, the editorial staff offers a complete tutorial on installing an APK file on their Android device.
