Available since last month on the App Store, the easyBike app changes its name and incorporates some new features.
Remember last month, we present you the easyBike app, an iPhone application for people who use self-service bike rental services managed by JCDecaux. Its author, Maxime Pontoire explained to us that he had developed this app because for him, "the one provided by JCDecaux was frankly a calamity". Following our report devoted to the presentation of his app, Maxime received some comments and suggestions from readers of Belgium-iPhone. Comments he has taken into consideration since an update to his app, now called nearBikes, is available on the App Store.
What's new in this new version? In addition to the name change, this update is the occasion of a complete redesign of the interface. New cities have been added (Namur for example as requested in the comments). "I have also taken your comments into account and it is now possible to access practical information (support and emergency number of the local manager) and especially to calculate a route to the station of your choice.", explains Maxime.
The nearBikes app is available for download from the App Store for 0.79.
We discuss it on the forum.
