TheiPhone 8 and theiPhone 8 Plus were unveiled by Apple September 12, during a keynote. As is the case every year, the two devices have already been the subject of numerous tests by specialized media. French people at home DxO Labs have taken the first step by testing the photo sensors of these new iPhones, and the result is excellent. Indeed, the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus have managed to climb to the top of the DxOMark ranking list. In other words, they are now the best photophones to the world, right in front of the Pixel of Google and the U11 of Htc.
More specifically, the iPhone 8 Plus has the best camera. The latter managed to obtain the highest score, which is now 94/100. It is closely followed by the iPhone 8, which has reached a score of 92/100. The former title holder, the Google Pixel, is relegated to third place with his score of 90/100, tied with the HTC U11.
If the two new iPhones were able to achieve such a feat, it is above all thanks to the improvements made to HDR mode and portrait mode. That said, the hardware improvements also have something to do with it.
