Italian developer Luca Todesco is releasing after mach_portal + yalu, an update based on the xerub version of Ian’s machine exploits, mach_portal, which fixed the jailbreak iPhone with iOS 7 10.1.1 stable.

The long-awaited mach_portal + yalu update has been made available for iPhone 7/7 users to iPhone 7 users, who are already known to be listening for a long time. As usual, like any previous version of a tool, all beta versions prior to this release were “stable” from what was available.
The stability issues that plagued iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users in the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak can finally be worked around with an updated version of Ian Beer’s “mach_portal” exploit titled “extra_recipe” . This new iteration was released by developer xerub.
Luca Todesco, in turn, took the code “extra_recipe” and paired it with his Yalu jailbreak, compiling the project into an .ipa to create the “extra_recipe + yaluX”. This effectively replaces your previous tool, the “yalu + mach_portal”.
Users who are on iOS 10.1.1 on an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus and are wondering if they should be upgraded due to the bugs, now it’s safe to say that they shouldn’t be upgraded. With this version jailbreak can be enjoyed satisfactorily, as users of Yalu102 – jailbreak for iOS 10.2.2.
This update will fix backboardd issues that the mach_portal had, as well as other persistent stability issues, although initial kernel exploitation remains unchanged. This means that attempts at jailbreaking can still fail a few times before working, but once it does, the stability should be much higher.
Although Todesco has already compiled an .ipa of the extra_recipe project, making it available on the official Yalu site, it is not advisable to use it yet. It is currently in Beta 1, and does not yet install Cydia. Once you get to the next steps in the beta phase, users can definitely grab extra_recipe + yaluX .ipa and try it instead of mach_portal.
For those of you interested in trying extra_recipe + yaluX beta 1 on your still without iPhone 7 iOS 10.1.1, you can grab the IPA file here.
