Then comes a window that can scare at first. Disney will ask you for your payment information there, either in BC or via Paypal. In reality, once the 7 free days have passed, the service automatically switches to its paid offer at € 6.99 / month or € 69.99 / year, depending on your choice.

It is a mandatory step. Impossible to ignore it. However, it is clearly stated that this subscription can be canceled at any time. The trick is then to cancel your subscription before the end of the 7 days offered. The paid subscription will not be set in motion and you can serenely continue your free period.

Note that if you use Paypal, you will be asked to pay € 1. A step very poorly explained since it is nothing in the end. It is simply a request for payment authorization from Disney and Paypal displays 1 € in the amount. After verification, we were not debited with such a sum.

How to cancel your Disney + subscription?

To cancel your subscription with being billed, simply go to the menu at the top right (on browser) of Disney +.

In the “Account” section, click on “billing details” and then on “cancel the subscription” on the page that opens.

It is clearly mentioned that this termination “will take effect at the end of the current billing period”, ie after the 7 days of free trial.
