To get a refund, CD Projekt redirects buyers to Sony and Microsoft customer service. As several testimonials show, the two manufacturers have agreed to fully reimburse many Cyberpunk 2077 players, which goes against their usual policy.

Sony Customer Service Reportedly Denies Some Refunds

Several testimonials on Twitter, and on the Resetera forum, claim that Sony support has also firmly refused multiple refunds in the last few hours. “’Sony support has refused another refund for Cyberpunk2077. They said that even if the developers want to pay it back, they won’t ” a surfer advances. Customer service then advises to wait for the January 2021 patch supposed to correct certain flaws in the console game.

In some screenshots, customer service mentions the mPlayStation Store legal terms to clear customs.
