Cyberpunk 2077 continues to make headlines. Despite the recent release of several updates that are supposed to improve the overall performance of the title, there are still many players who are keen to get their money back. However, some are surprised to see the game disappear from their library once the refund has been made. Or how to want butter and the money of butter.
Available since December 12, 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 has had a choppy, let’s say debut, to put it mildly. If the PC, Stadia and GeForce Now versions hold relatively well, the PS4 and Xbox One versions are a disaster. Festival of bugs, graphic quality clearly below the PC version, clipping with a shovel, slobbery textures, a city of Night City totally emptied of its inhabitants …
You would have understood it, we are far from what the title of CD Projekt RED promised. As a result, Sony has taken the radical decision to remove the game from the Playstation Store and to fully reimburse players who request it. Same process at Microsoft. Only, many complaints about these refunds are multiplying on social networks.
Get reimbursed and keep the game anyway …
Indeed, refunded players were surprised to see that they could no longer access Cyberpunk 2077 in their library. In other words, these users hoped to have the butter and the butter money. “I just got my Cyberpunk refund, but now you are removing it from my console ???? I still want to play the game! You’ve scammed the world by allowing the release and sale of a game on your console that doesn’t work and won’t work for months ”, complains a user on Twitter.
It is true that Sony does not state on its official website that the game will be removed from your library after the refund has been issued. “Once we have verified that you have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 from the Playstation Store, we will begin the refund process ”, writes the constructor. Nevertheless, it seems logical to no longer have access to the game after compensation.
If some players are therefore surprised at the disappearance of the game after reimbursement, others are amused by the behavior of these players who are a little too demanding. “He’s the kind of guy who will eat his whole meal, then say he didn’t like it and wants his money back ”, William Ryan sums up perfectly on Twitter.
