A Youtuber had fun keeping Cyberpunk 2077’s graphics to a minimum. He didn’t just go to the options and put everything on “low”, since he went further by digging into the source code of the game. The result is… artistic.
Cyberpunk 2077 is experiencing some graphics issues on console, but on PC the game is magnificent, especially if you have a recent graphics card. Videos of the title running with all the options pushed to the limit abound on the net, but a Youtubeur decided to do exactly the opposite.

Low Spec Gamer is a YouTuber specializing in videos where he has fun running games with their graphics to a minimum. He does not just lower all the options in the menus, since he will tamper with the source code of the game to go even lower, in options reserved for developers.
An almost artistic porridge of pixels
The result is a game that has nothing to do with the base product anymore. Beside, the PS4 Fat version is the next gen. The streets of Night City look like a mush of pixels and it is very difficult to progress in these conditions. Likewise, some passages are unrecognizable, like this sequence at the beginning of the adventure where we barely recognize Dexter Deshawn.
In his video, Low Spec Gamer explains his approach and you can reproduce it on your PC. The advantage is that the game runs on very small configs with this, but at what cost? The Youtubeur is not at his first attempt, far from it. For example, five years ago he did the same with the previous CD Projekt: The Witcher 3 game. The end result was impressive, with Geralt seemingly wandering a universe straight out of an early 2000s MMORPG.
Regarding Cyberpunk 2077, it does feats in terms of graphics (despite the bugs). But to enjoy the title with all the options in ultra and full ray-tracing, you will need to equip yourself with a war machine with an RTX 3080 minimum.
