Cyberpunk 2077: CD Projekt rolls out new update to fix all bugs

Cyberpunk 2077 is entitled to a fourth update since its launch. With patch 1.04, CD Projekt seeks to fix all bugs reported by players over the past few days. At first, this patch is only available for the PC and PS4 versions of the game. Xbox players will therefore have to wait a little longer.

Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most anticipated games of recent years, is a hit. With 8 million pre-orders fulfilled, the CD Projekt game quickly generated over $ 50 million in revenue. The PC version even achieves the best launch of a game in history.

Unfortunately, Cyberpunk 2077’s launch is marred by a shower of bugs. For example, penises appear everywhere on the screen for no reason whatsoever. On PS4 and Xbox One, the game is almost unplayable. To run the game in optimal conditions, you need a high-end gaming PC or go through Google Stadia.

What are the fixes for Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.04?

In an attempt to correct the situation, CD Projekt has just launched Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.04 rollout. The patch is already available on the PC and Playstation version. Xbox One or Xbox Series X / S users will be able to install the update “as soon as possible”, promises the Polish studio.

The changelog published by CD Projekt details the fixes made by the patch. The studio first evokes an overall improvement in game stability in order to avoid untimely crashes. The update fixes a host of quests that appear during quests. Some of the bugs were preventing the player from progressing through the story. Note also that “Sudden vehicle appearances have been reduced”.

As promised, CD Projekt includes a fix for sequences that may trigger epileptic seizures. “Changed flashing effect on braindances to reduce risk of inducing epileptic symptoms. The effect has been reduced and the flashes have been reduced in frequency and amplitude ” explains the changelog.

Finally, the studio also attempted toimprove the rendering of PPS4 and Xbox One versions following criticism from players. Players have indeed noticed that older generation consoles have trouble displaying correct graphics in-game. CD Projekt has therefore improved “The quality of the reflections on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to eliminate the smearing effect”. Unfortunately, the patch may not be enough to catch up with the delay of these versions compared to the PC version.
