Prior to today's annual shareholders' meeting at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, Apple warned all attendees to take extra precautions due to the coronavirus epidemic.
In a message sent to all participants at the shareholders' meeting, Apple indicates that it is working in close collaboration with experts to follow the official directives of the American centers for control and prevention of infectious diseases, in order to implement best practices related to COVID-19.
Apple has also asked anyone who has visited China in the past few weeks to complete the quarantine period of at least 14 days to attend the meeting.
The meeting scheduled to take place today should not offer particularly interesting news to consumers. Apple generally informs its shareholders of the profits and certain strictly financial activities. However, the consequences of the coronavirus on the current quarter should also be addressed.
