What if iOS 5 included a feature that would allow the management of widgets (as already proposed by Android, in its own way)? In any case, it is an idea that has been touched by designer Jan-Michael Cart who offers his little idea. The designer who specializes in interface ergonomics offers to integrate a Dashboard located on the left of the iOS home screen. A new menu would offer to add applications in the form of widgets that would take place on each of the pages. But finally, is it really useful to add widgets on the iPhone screen? Wouldn't that be more suited to the more comfortable iPad screen that could accommodate several widgets on the same page? And finally, why would the designers not think about integrating new tools on the iPhone screen, when it is locked; like a calendar preview, for example.
We discuss it on the forum.
