Today, integrated keyboards are not really fashionable anymore and Blackberry barely survive in this ultra-competitive world of mobiles (read: BlackBerry could withdraw from the smartphone market in 2016). Yet some designers like the famous Swiss Martin Hajek seem to be fighting for the survival of physical keyboards on current phones.
Witness the latest video concept of a iPhone 6k posted by Curved on his YouTube channel. We discover an Apple smartphone with a sliding keyboard (physical, therefore) capable of deploying. For connoisseurs, the realization is based on the BlackBerry Priv recently released (read: BlackBerry Priv: detailed characteristics, price & delivery date).
In the description of the concept, Curved explains that it is not an iPhone 7 but an iPhone 6S equipped with a keyboard (iPhone 6k for keyboard). Regarding the other characteristics, the smartphone therefore has the same dimensions as the current 6S. With a press of a button on the right side of the iPhone 6k, the keyboard, based on that of iOS, comes out. Located inside the hull, it is backlit and is available in black and white.
