The Grammy Awards have offered a number of memorable moments this year. One of these nice surprises is the first trailer for Carpool karaoke version Apple. As a reminder, the apple brand bought last year the rights to the miniseries launched by the star presenter of The Late Late Show, James Corden.
Carpool Karaoke, the concept
In each episode, the mini-series presents Corden accompanied by stars in his car. The leader drives while chatting with his guest (s) of the day, and he often sings a few tubes during the trip. Among the celebrities who have already participated in the show, we can mention Michelle Obama, Elton John, Adele or even Beyoncé.
James Corden will not be the host of the new version of Carpool Karaoke, whose arrival on Apple Music is scheduled for next April according to Eddy Cue (vice president in charge of Internet services for Apple). This one will only make an appearance, and it will be with Will Smith as we can see in the teaser released during the Grammy Awards.
A first trailer (trailer)
In addition to the teaser, Apple has just published the trailer for its Carpool Karaoke on its YouTube channel. The first season will feature Will Smith, Billy Eichner, Metallica, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Seth MacFarlane, Chelsea Handler, Blake Shelton, Michael Strahan, John Cena and Shaquille O ‘Neal. The Californian brand will broadcast at least 16 episodes of 30 minutes.
