If you can already get your hands on The Elder Scrolls Legends, this is a collectible card game, intended to counter Blizzard’s Hearthstone.

Today, Bethesda wants to truly bring her fantastic medieval universe to smartphones and tablets, “A massive RPG in the first person with the graphic quality of the consoles”, as described by Todd Howard, its executive producer.

The universes are varied with both outdoor and indoor phases. The dungeons are as well designed by the developers as they are randomly generated. Three game modes are available: a story mode, a PVP mode and a rogue-like mode.

Obviously, we will find the salt of major titles with the possibility of creating your avatar from scratch and improving your equipment. Nice detail, it will be possible to play both in landscape mode and in portrait mode.

Planned for fall on iOS and Android, Blades will be free. It will then be released on other machines, Bethesda specifying that it will be cross-platform, which means that all players can play together, regardless of their device.

A beta phase is planned. Anyone can register now on playblades.com. No limitation is advanced for the moment, but given the visual quality of the title we can suspect that it will not run on all mobile devices.
