Intel has started producing its entry-level processors elsewhere

benchmarks for the dbrid Core i7-6700K model

Over the months, the deployment of processors Skylake 14 nanometers clarified. Intel will launch the first models in August, starting with the unbridled models Core i5-6600K and Core i7-6700K.

And it just so happens that benchmarks have leaked for the second processor. These compare the performance of the model Core i7-6700K with those of the Core i7-4790K model, an unbridled quad-core at similar frequencies (4.0-4.2 GHz for the new versus 4.0-4.4 GHz for the old).

According to the results obtained, at the same frequency of 4.0 GHz, the new model model displays between 4 and 10% more performance. Knowing that we are on the high end, the gain between the two generations may seem quite moderate, not enough in any case to justify the migration. We therefore hope that the next benchmarks will be more flattering.

Meanwhile, at AMD, he’s a model A10-7870K which has been formalized. First member of the new Godavari generation, this unlocked model will be positioned under the bar of 150 euros.
