A 75-year-old Georgian cut Armenia from the Internet for more than 12 hours after she cut the cables to resell the copper.
She was collecting metals when she fell on the cables which she broke with her shovel. This is what she confessed to the authorities who questioned her about this case. The question is why these cables were not installed out of reach of the public.
The Georgian operator who owns the cables in question is extremely surprised by this case and wonders how a person of such an age can cut this cable which is in principle reinforced.
The Georgian courts have already launched proceedings, but the person at the center of this case has been released because of his age. She is now awaiting trial.
