For those who don’t already know, one of the many advantages of having a jailbroken device is being able to explore memory and root file of the latter from a computer, without going through iTunes or others, but directly from a file explorer.

Only this process requires applications such as iFunbox or iExplore and an order must prepare the device.

This is where AFC2 comes in. The recent jailbreak tools (25PP or TaiG) do not implant it by default, we offer you in this post and step by step, to discover how to install it and get it started!

Note that your device must be jailbroken with the TaiG tool for this maneuver to work safely. The explorer we used is iExplore!

Step 1 : Open Cydia on your device (here’s how to activate it if it isn’t)

2nd step : Select “edition” then “add”

Stage 3 : Write “apt.taig.com” and select “Add source”

Step 4 : Open the TaiG source, then all the packages

Step 5 : Search for “TaiG AFC2”, install it and restart your device

Step 6 : Connect your device to your computer and launch an application of the same ilk as iExplore

It’s over ! You will see root appear in the explorer interface!
