September may well be a busy month for Apple. In addition to the traditional presentation of its new iPhones, Apple could also unveil new MacBook Air and Pro, including a 16-inch model.
At the start of the year, analyst Ming Chi Kuo predicted the release of a MacBook Pro 16 from the start of 2019. A forecast that could well be confirmed. In any case, a second analyst, Jeff Lin from IHS Markit this time, also goes in this direction.
The latter assures that Apple plans to present new MacBook Pro and Air during its return keynote, including a 16 inch model. This would be equipped with an LCD screen provided by LG Display -, whose panel would be 3072 x 1920, more than the 2880 x 1800 of the current 15-inch MacBook Pro.
In addition to this model 16, Apple could also unveil an updated version of the MacBook Pro 13 without Touch Bar and the Mac Book Air screen Retina. The new models would obviously include newer processors, but also the new macOS Catalina operating system, presented during the WWDC keynote in early June.
See you in September to find out.
