In late 2013, Apple obtained a patent for virtual reality glasses. We thought then that the Cupertino company was going to launch at the same time as Google and its Google Glass in this new market full of promise, but the American brand preferred to work on its Apple Watch.
However, it seems that Apple is still interested in this sector. In a note for investors, analyst Gene Munster from Piper Jaffray says that the Apple brand has a team of several people working in the field of augmented reality.
Munster believes that augmented reality will only be adopted by the general public in ten years, but that Apple is already starting to prepare to release a successful product when the market is growing. Hopefully the glasses of the American giant will have a more successful design than those of Google…
