Apple has just made some improvements to its entry-level laptop, the white MacBook. These new features, which have so far only appeared on the American version of the computer, mainly concern an update of the processor and the machine’s hard disk.
The white MacBook is still there
Apple does not revolutionize the entry level of its laptops, but makes some adjustments to its white MacBook. Thus, for a price that remains unchanged ($ 999 in the United States, 949 euros in France), users are now offered a slightly more powerful computer, with a Core 2 Duo which goes from 2 GHz to 2.133 GHz, and a hard drive that goes from 120 GB to 160 GB.
The rest of the equipment remains unchanged. But this update of this white MacBook proves that Apple is not going to separate from this computer, even though the range of MacBook alu has been available for several months. Note however that this adjustment of the technical specifications of this MacBook make its processor more powerful than that of the first MacBook alu offered on the Apple Store, and sold about 300 dollars more expensive…
