As the iOS 10.2 jailbreak becomes stable and largely compatible (except iPhone 7), the developer Jonathan Levin used the exploits of Todesco in Yalu102 available on Github to jailbreak tvOS 10.1. According to him, it will be necessary to dig further to see how to have root access but no doubt that it is possible, he published a capture of a piece of code accessing the memory of the system kernel.
Either Levin has the talent to do it, or he will help Todesco to make Yalu compatible with Apple TV 4 on tvOS 10.1.
Exciting news! A few tweaks and dozen panics later, CVE-2017-2370 works on #AppleTV #TVOS 10.1 – A #Jailbreak is officially under development! pic.twitter.com/ktGs20yrln

One problem: tvOS 10.1 is no longer signed
The only concern is that tvOS 10.1 is no longer signed as iOS 10.2 since yesterday. So, if you want to jailbreak your Apple TV 4, stay on tvOS 10.1 and follow us on iPhoneTweak.
