iTunes has always been the flagship application ofApple. The name iTunes has always resonated in the ears of the first aficionados of the apple brand, because after all, it was available from the iPod. We find in this historical application a music section, a films section, a series section, a podcast section and an audio book section. But Apple seems to want to finish with this almost archaic hub.
According to the developer Steve Troughton-Smith, Apple indeed wants to bury iTunes and offer all its content in unique and diverse applications. Thus, an application for each section (music, films, series, podcasts, audio books) will be available. And all the apps would end up on the TV apps announced by Apple and available in the fall with the macOS 10.15 version.
This decision would follow Apple’s desire to integrate ” Marzipan »To its OS, ie to offer the same application on iOS as on macOS. The Apple News, Maison, Bourse and Dictaphone applications are already present on the Mac and share the same code as with their iOS applications. To find out more, we will have to wait until June 3 and the WWDC. It is at this annual fair and event that the next versions of Apple’s operating systems and new applications are announced.
