Apple to double its AirPods Pro production due to strong demand

When the AirPods were first released, many of them scoffed at the design of the earbuds, but naysayers were quickly found to be incorrect, as it later turned out to be one of the Apple’s best-selling products in recent years and was a hit among customers. It turns out that Apple could have struck gold twice.

Apple to double its AirPods Pro production due to strong demand

In a report by the Nikkei Asian Review, it was revealed that the demand for the new AirPods Pro is so strong that Apple is now forced to double the production of the earbuds. The company is now expected to increase production to 2 million units per month. While we don’t know how many units Apple has sold to date, the fact that they hit 2 million units per month gives us an idea, as Apple would likely avoid producing more than the market demands.

If this is your first time hearing about this, the AirPods Pro launched last month. It was a “professional” version of the AirPods. It offered better audio quality and also featured noise canceling features, something other competitors have beaten Apple in the past few months.

It’s also more expensive than regular AirPods, but it seems that despite the price difference, customers still get bitten.
