Study by RetailSails shows that Apple Stores have the most profitable retail space on the market. This study was carried out on more than 160 resellers across the United States.
However, Apple does not have a very long experience in retail since it did not open its first physical store in 2001. Since then, Apple Stores have sprouted up like mushrooms across the United States. It’s only very recently that apple shops are flourishing all over the world and at a fairly sustained speed.
Apple is almost two steps ahead of its closest competitor, Tiffany & Co, and almost five times that of Gamestop as you can see in the chart above.
For the daily USA Today, this increase represented a fifth of the growth in sales by retailers quoted on the stock market in the United States.
