Last night, Apple has made available to developers the third beta of Safari 10. The final version of the next major browser update should be available to the general public in September, and will be installed natively with macOS Sierra. Thanks to this pre-version, those who do not have a Mac compatible with the future version of the Apple desktop OS can still test it.

Safari Icon - Apple: Safari 10 beta 3 available for OS X Yosemite & El CapitanCompatible with OS X Yosemite and OS X El Capitan, this beta 3 reserved for developers does not, however, offer exactly the same features as those present on Safari 10 in macOS Sierra. We are talking about Apple Pay and the Picture in Picture function, which allows you to display a video from Safari or iTunes in a floating window on the desktop or in full screen mode.

On the other hand, the new Safari extensions, the new bookmarks bar, the redesigned history, the new zoom management, the new web inspector or even the automatic filling from contacts are present. To install Safari 10 on your Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan, go to the Updates tab of the Mac App Store or directly on the Dev Center.
