The Apple Archive

Apple removes all videos from "The Apple Archive"

The works of The Apple Archive will not be short-lived. The site brought together the collection of documents, videos and photos on all Apple products from 1977 to today.

The Apple Archive

After 10 days of life, this unofficial tribute was deprived of all the videos collected by Sam Henri Gold, an Apple enthusiast. It had taken months to collect many historical finds. Many are difficult to find online. Among them, there was also an AirPower videotape.

The Apple Archive therefore loses all of its most interesting content. It is not excluded that the documents and photos still present on the portal may soon disappear. The removal request came directly from Apple, as evidenced by the many emails sent by Vimeo Sam Henri Gold:

The Apple Archive

The author of The Apple Archive had indeed downloaded all the historical videos of Apple products on Vimeo, but it was Apple who had asked the platform to delete the videos for "copyright infringement". Sam Henri Gold's email was composed of messages from Vimeo, all of which were read at Apple's request.

A real shame, because this portal was an extraordinary tribute to the history of Apple, where almost everything could be found. And the videos were certainly the most interesting part of the project.
